The Pfalz D.III was a German fighter aircraft used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Army Air Service) during World War I. First flown in April 1917, the D.III entered service later that year and served through the summer of 1918. It continued to serve as a training aircraft until the end of the war.
