1:72 Scale. Length: 6". Wingspan: 8"
The Henschel Hs 126 was a German two-seat observation and reconnaissance aircraft used by the Luftwaffe before and during World War II. First flown in August of 1936, the Hs 126 entered service in 1938, after evaluation by the Legion Condor contingent to the Spanish Civil War. The aircraft was well received for its good short takeoff and landing capability, which was needed at that time. It was used for only a few years and was eventually replaced by the Focke-Wolf Fw 189 Uhu ("Eagle Owl"), which started entering service in 1940. Production of the Hs 126 ended in January 1941 and it was retired from front line service in 1942.
