The Eagle Model 05 was introduced in 1967 with production in Belgium starting partway through the 1968 model year. The first new Model 05s had chassis changes built into the Model 01 body style until the Model 05 styling changes arrived in 1969. In late 1974, Eagle International started building coaches in Brownsville, Texas and for two years the Model 05 was built both in Belgium and Texas. The Model 05 was built until 1980, when it was replaced by the Model 10.
