Based on the DC Comics character, the film Batman Returns pits Batman against the deranged Penguin who is intent on becoming Mayor of Gotham City. But when the mysterious Catwoman appears on the scene, Batman must deal with two adversaries. In order to defend Gotham City from evil, Batman needs a potent vehicle. His BATMOBILE is long and sleek, combining design elements from 1930s coupes with those of modern racing cars. It features a repeating bat motif evident in the distinctive wing-shaped tail fins.

The 1992 film Batman Returns was the second Batman film directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Batman / Bruce Wayne, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman /Selina Kyle, Danny DeVito as Penguin / Oswald Cobblepot and Christopher Walken as Max Shreck.
