The 120 Squadron is a helicopter unit located at Sembawang Air Base and since 2006 is equipped with the AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter. Boeing serial SN018 is RSAF 2067 and can be equipped with varied payloads of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, Hydra 70 rockets and a 30mm Chain Gun.
The AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine attack helicopter operated by the U.S. Army and the military forces of several other countries. Originally developed by Hughes Helicopters in the 1970s as a replacement for the Bell AH-1 Cobra, the Apache is now built by Boeing. The YAH-64 prototype was first flown on September 30, 1975, with the production model entering service in 1986. The AH-64 has served in conflicts in Panama, the Persian Gulf, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. Over 2,000 have been produced to date in several variants.
