In the 1997 film Tomorrow Never Dies, British MI6 agent James Bond 007 (Pierce Brosnan) is supplied by Q with a modified BMW 750iL. Bond’s BMW includes missiles hidden under a panel on the roof, a retractable wire-cutter under the BMW logo on the hood, re-inflatable tires and the ability to operate the car by remote control from a cell phone. Bond uses the cars weapons and defensive gadgets to escape from a garage in Hamburg, Germany while he is pursued by Elliott Carvers’ (Jonathan Pryce) heavily-armed henchman.
