Skylab was the United States' first space station, and the second space station occupied by a human crew. The 100-ton space station orbited the Earth from 1973 to 1979 and was visited by crews three times in 1973 and 1974. Skylab was launched on May 14 1973 on a Saturn INT-21 (a two-stage version of the Saturn V rocket) into a 235 nautical mile (435 km) orbit.
The Saturn INT-21 was an American orbital launch vehicle of the 1970s. It was derived from the Saturn V Rocket used for the Apollo program, and is casually referred to as a "modified Saturn V." It was only launched once, to carry the Skylab space station into orbit.
The Dragon Wings Space Collection includes high quality, fully assembled, die-cast models of spacecraft and rockets. Each model is crafted with meticulous attention to detail using original specifications. They are constructed with diecast metal and some plastic components.
